Chapter 5 On the way to Yamaha

Meiko's Pov.

"Uhhh." Another morning. Why do I have to get up? A right school. I hate it, the only thing worth going to school today was because of the trip to Yamaha.

"Young mistress it is time to go up." Said one of the maids we had. It was common thing when you were rich to have your own butler or maid.

"Huum later." I said mumbling into the pillow. It didn't matter how early I got to bed I would never be fully awake until lunch. Then suddenly I felt the covers of my bed being pulled off.

"Young lady do you wish me to use the wrestling move on you?" I just shocked my head, the maid or Suzuki was a very talented wrestler and she is one of the few people not even I wish to mess with.

"Then get ready breakfast if done in five minutes your mother and father is their as well." With that said Suzuki left me to get dressed. I hated having to obey some one. However ever since Suzuki sent me to the hospital when I was 15 I started to listen to her. However no one knows about it and she has promised to keep it secret.

I went down the stairs and into the kitchen their both my "parents" sat eating breakfast.

"Good morning dear" My mother said

"Morning" I said and sat down

"Slept well"

"Nah, Not at all…"

"You must stop being out that late dear"

I hated when they said so. I wanted to live my life as I want to, but they didn't understand it. I ate a little, took my stuff and then went to school. I was tired and not even my friends dared to talk to me when I was tired. I saw that we had been split into groups. I read my name in group 3 together with: Shion Kaito, Hatsune Miku and the Kagamine twins. Great! I was going with some losers! I saw my group stand a bit away. Kaito looked scared as usual, Miku looked stupid, and Len was looking at his sister who tried to lay a frog into the teacher's bag. I sigh, I didn't Want to be with them. My friends may think I have lost the "bad girl" inside me. I went to my group and everyone looked scared at me.  

"Good morning miss Sakine, late as always" The teacher said
"As you care!"

Mine and Kaitos eyes meet and I felt my cheeks heat. I turned away. I felt a hand on my bag and turned around. It was Miku who was curios on my bag.

"Oh, sorry but I just liked you bag, was it expensive?"  Miku said and looked at me
"Not at all, just some thousand yen" I said and looked annoyed at her

She looked at me with big eyes. I sigh and she smiled.  She went to talk to Len and Rin. I didn't understand how those two could live together. Len made Order out of Chaos and Rin made Chaos out of Order! I looked a little at Kaito who looked at the sky. He never said something and was nice to everyone. His blue hair got messed up by the wind and it was not hard to understand why the girls liked him so much. I looked away. I felt that I was blushing. Why? I was not in love with him and he was not my type at all. The teacher said that it was time to go.

On the buss to Yamaha it felt like forever. Behind me was Kaito and Miku for some reason they sat behind one enother and Miku would pup up behind Kaito smiling and telling jokes. He seemed to find them funny and at times even I did. It for some reason irked me. After about half an hour we were at Yamaha and in front of us were a representative from Yamaha. He started to blabber about all the musical and technological wonders that Yamaha had produced. And when he mentioned Gakupo and Luka almost all the girls started to squeal in exitement. That was just annoying and much to my surprise Miku, little airheaded Miku didn't squeal she however blushed. At least I didn't have to deal with a Gakupo and Luka fantast. I smiled and let out a sigh of relives. I could imagine who bad it was for Ishii she had a young greenett in her group and once Gakupo was mentioned she started to dance around and sing out his name.  "thank god." I said quietly to myself. I looked up trying to find the twins. I looked up at the big fountain and found the girl Min or something climbing its way to the swans head were the water was flowing. She put her hand in front of the water hole and water sprayed over the freshmen high schoolers, Miku included. I however for some reason was torn between helping Miku or laughing for what the blond girl had done.

"Kagamine -san!" It was the teacher for the second year middle scholars. He started to criticise the young blond and her brother Ken just stood their looking very much ashamed. I was starting to get board with just standing around and suddenly the reprensative of Yamaha had sounded a whistle and everything became silent.

"Listen here you have the freedom to walk around the Yamaha company of your own. However you must keep out of the restricted areas. We will not take responsibility if you harm yourself their." I was kind of surprised that we would be on our own. Normally we would be following the teacher like little ducklings. Not that I ever did. I would always go before or far behind the group when we were on school trips.

The teacher that before was yelling at Rin shouted at us to get into our groups. As on an order The twins stood in front of me the girl just glowing with admiration, to the brick that is was creepy. I sigh and suddenly Kaito stood beside me. He smiled friendly at me.

"Hi, how are you?" he asked a bit shyly

"Umm…Good I guess…why are you asking?"

"Just wondering…nice weather for a field trip…or what do you say?"

"Maybe…?"

"You don't like to talk?"

"I am tired…I got to bed late"

"I see…My name is Shion Kaito"

"Sakine Meiko"

"Nice to meet you"

"I hope I can say the same about you"

I felt kind of more normal around him, I even smiled and I haven't done that in several months now. He was polite and I think he felt more secure around me because I was not like the other girls around us. We came in and I saw Rin run away. Len followed her and then Miku. Kaito ran after them and tried to get them back. I stood there alone in a split second before I ran after. I saw Rin go trough a door and we all followed her. I heard the door slam closed behind me and I turned around. I tried to open the door but it was locked. I looked at the others who looked at me.

"We are trapped" I said

"You are kidding!" said Kaito

He tried to open the door and looked a bit worried at me. I looked at the others and I saw Rin look at the door with wide opened eyes. Len looked at his sister and Miku was looking around. I sat down in a corner and tried not to panic. I hated to be locked up like this. I wanted to be free. Kaito tried to open the door and Rin got scrolled by Len. Miku came back from her little "treasure hunting" with spider web in her hair. She smiled as she didn't know that we were trapped.

"What's wrong?" Miku said as if their was not a care in the world.

"The door is locked." I said slightly irretaited.

"Have you tried to push it in both directions?"

"Yeah and it is locked." I said this girl's obliviousness was going to get on my nerves sooner or later. Miku went up to the door and started to push on the door and started too feel around on its sides.

"What are you doing?" I asked the tealnett she looked ridiculous.

"My mama sometimes hides the keys by shoving them into the frame of the door. I fought that maybe their might be an extra key."

"That is just stupid why hide it their?"

"Whenever I had house arrest I would always sneak out. And mama their for hide the key in secret places. " I never fought that that little girl would ever break any rule, but to sneak out when you had house arrest was something I used to do when I was younger and I still do sometimes. She however backed away and sigh.

"What's wrong?" Kaito said.

"No key." Was all she said, she had probably fought that they would have kept a key in the frame. Suddenly Miku started to rum in her jacket pocket and pulled out a small teal coloured phone.

"I can try to get to Neru or anyone else." She said, I looked at the small girl, maybe I judged her to fast. She dialled a number and she waited patiently. Then when a small burr sound came her face lit up.

"It connecting" Kaito said as if the dial was a light in the darkness. However after three dial Miku's phone stopped to dial. She looked at us in surprise and she looked at the phone. We three saw that the screen was black. Miku turned on it and opened the shell on the backside. She removed the battery and she looked at it.

"It looks like it is alright" Kaito said.

"Yeah" I said Miku turned on the small phone and picked up the battery.

"It is wet." She said surprised.

"My phone can't take water the battery goose down in just seconds and I can't contact anyone." Miku looked like she was about to freak out. Her teal eyes became big and watery.

"It is alright." Said Kaito and patted her head. She started to blush and for some reason I felt like the third weal in this thing.

"You did the best. So you don't need to cry." Was all he said and she almost immediately stopped crying. It was like she was use to him comforting her. She nodded.

" Thank you, Shion- senpai." She said giving a slight bow. She pulled out her hand one towards me and one to Kaito.

"May I borrow one of yours?" Now I felt dumb why did I have to leave it at home today?
Kaito just shook his head and mumbled that he didn't have one.

"Maybe the twins have one?" Kaito said hopeful.

"I seriously doubt it. I wouldn't trust the girl with one and I think both of them are too young to have their own phones." I said trying to sound rational.

"Well we will not know unless we ask them." Kaito said looking at me.

"Alright we will ask them." I said, I was not going to argue I was not in the mood to do that.

"Alright now we just have to find them." Miku said wandering back into the deeper part of the storage.

"We are suppose to find them in this mess?"

"What choice do we have?"
